About TL Burtenshaw upholstery

Tyson Burtenshaws’ career started when he was just a young boy, working for his father during school holidays, aged only 11. This early start, alongside the apprenticeship he completed with Imperial Upholstery Services, led to him being one of the youngest known, fully-skilled upholsterers at just 18 years old.

Within a couple of years, Tyson set up on his own offering hand made furniture and bespoke upholstery. Working from a small unit in his home town of Worthing, the business soon grew. He bought out the company he completed his apprenticeship with and relocated to Lancing into larger premises.

From this easy to reach location he is able to offer a huge range of services. These include hand made furniture, all aspects of recovering and reupholstering, French polishing and more. Our Clients range from design conscious individuals to high end London hotel chains and world renowned interior designers.
